Retrofit
Package for the DW Machine
The DW machine has
for many years been a well appreciated workhorse
in the industry to produce coiled coil filaments
for incandescent lamps.
Some of the electronic components of the control
units in operation are no longer available on
the market and, as a consequence, servicing of
these units could pose a problem. However, to
enable you to continue operating the DW machine,
we have developed a new electronic control
package based on the latest state of the art
technology. This new control package can easily
be used as a retrofit package.
The new control
package for the DW machine consists of:
- The control
box is equipped with a standard, maintenance
free induction motor
- The motor has
a controlled acceleration and deceleration
by a frequency inverter
- The machine is
equipped with standard and plugged proximity
sensors
- The machine is
equipped with standard solenoids, in order
to stop the coiling head and activate the
roller unit.
Advantages of the
new control package for the DW machine:
- Better coil
quality due to controlled acceleration and
deceleration of the machine.
- Less
maintenance due to less heat dissipation
- Lower cost due
to latest technology and standard
components.
